SISTER CITY: Yeongdong-gun – south korea

Alameda City, which signed a sister city relationship with the Yeongdong-gun in Chungbuk-do last July 2017, visited Yeongdong on 20-24 last month to enhance friendship and mutual trust. 

The participants of the Alameda-Yeongdong Sister City Committee (Chairman Hee Jeong Shin) and the Mayor of Alameda attended the Nangye Korean traditional music festival and wine festival in Yeongdong and discussed ways of mutual cooperation such as education, economy, culture and technology exchange with Yeongdong-gun.

Alameda - Yongdong sister city committee was accompanied by Shin Chairperson, committee member of the committee, Mi Young Lee (Sarah Kim Lee) public information officer of the Social Security Administration, and Micha Oh owner of at the Ohgane Restaurant.
